About Us

 

Sameli was started by siblings 10-year-old Samantha and 11-year-old Elijah.  What began as an assignment from their POOF entrepreneur camp became much more. 

Growing up in a household with parents who are entrepreneurs, Sam and Eli learned firsthand about owning and operating a business.

Let’s get to know Sam and Eli.

Why did you start Sameli?

(Samantha) We wanted to have money to buy our own things.

(Elijah) I wanted money because Im broke (lol)

How did you come up with the name of the company?

It's our names put together, sam eli.

How did you decide what products to sell?

(Samantha) I wanted to be a hairstylist and Elijah wanted to be a barber so we came up with a hair oil. 

(Elijah) My mom's friend sold $3,000 in soap in one day and I was like we are adding soap to our store.

When you were creating the products, how did you decide on the colors and the name

(Samantha) We know kids love planets so we names the soaps after the solar system.  

(Elijah) We looked the planets up and used the colors of the planets in the soaps.

Whats your favorite thing to do at Sameli?

(Samantha) Stir the colors and pour the soap into the molds.

(Elijah) Making the designs in the soaps.

What is your favorite subject in school?

(Samantha) Reading.

(Elijah) Math and Science.

What do you like least about school?

(Samantha)  When your teacher makes you walk at recess for no reason.

(Elijah) Homework.

What do you like to do when you are not in school?

(Samantha) Sleep in of course.

(Elijah) Play the PS4.

What sport do you like to play? 

(Samantha) Track and Field.

(Elijah) Basketball.

Something unique about you?

(Samatha) People always think we are twins

(Elijah) We are 3 months away from being Irish Twins.
